2016 Transitions Festival

What's not to love about the Transitions Festival? I was lucky enough to attend both the opening and closing events, and saw a few really incredible, mind blowing, thought provoking documentaries. You can check out this years screenings here

I'd have to say my favourites were Catching the SunPoverty Inc., Code: debugging the gender gap, and Capital C: The Crowdfunding Revolution. I was somewhat disappointed by Athropocence, which was slightly depressing, offered opinion after opinion (we get it...) and lacked the more interesting scientific evidence. The best part of this film was the discussion afterward that included my friend Dr. Angus Hervey from Future CrunchBreath of Life followed a similarly annoying format.
